Top 5 eLearning Trends of 2013’ – An exclusive event for Training and Learning professionals

Team Raptivity recently organized an exclusive event named ‘Top 5 eLearning Trends of 2013’, for professionals and leaders committed to integrating the best in learning practices, using the latest available tools for enhancing the overall learning experience. The event which was held at Harbinger Group’s Global Port location at Pune on 27th February, 2013, was a smashing success with attendees from diverse business segments and educational institutions coming together, to enhance their knowledge in relation to the various new trends and tools that will be a rage in the eLearning domain in 2013.

Poonam Jaypuriya - Senior General Manager - Product Management (Innovation and Products), Harbinger Knowledge Products inaugurated the session with a brief introduction of Harbinger Group and the various members of the Raptivity Team. She then handed over the proceedings to the keynote speaker, Pravin Kulange, General Manager - Technology Solutions, Harbinger Group who gave a strategic picture of the current eLearning scenario, while elaborating on various studies conducted in the learning domain recently. He then moved on to an in-depth discussion related to the top five eLearning trends in 2013, namely Mobile Learning, Gamification, Just-in-time Learning, Social Learning and Tin Can API.

We had an interactive participation from the audience, which helped everyone get a better perspective and a clear view of the application scenarios and technological needs when adopting these trends in their work environment. Shravan Kadvekar, Product Sales Head, gave a quick overview of Raptivity, the accolades it has won in last year and what our customers have to say about Raptivity. The participants got a chance to attend a detailed demonstration of Raptivity and Elicitus from Prashanjit, a Raptivity Valued Professional. Post that, they got an exclusive hands-on session with these products and a chance to talk to Marketing, Product Management, Support and Sales team members on how they could use these tools in creating an engaging online learning experience.

Interacting with people and understanding their usage patterns, pain points and demonstrating how rapid eLearning tools can help them in their environments is always an enriching experience. The event concluded on a high note, with the participants enthusiastically interacting with the Raptivity team and discussing the various innovative possibilities, while using Elicitus and Raptivity, in a real time course development scenario.
