E-Learning Africa 2012 Conference & Expo was an event designed for learning, training and academic professionals. It was a midsized conference with approximately 1500 attendees. There were around 30-40 vendors exhibiting in the expo hall. A varied mix of vendors were providing tools, services and courses ranging from e-learning tools, courses, content development services, off the shelf content services, technology solutions, corporate training to distance learning services.

We exhibited Raptivity, our interactivity building tool which allows you to quickly and easily creating eLearning interactions such as games, simulations, brainteasers, etc. You can embed them directly into your online courses. The main focus at this conference was on HTML5 publish capability of Raptivity. We showcased an exclusive range of eLearning samples for both desktop/laptop and mobile tablets.

Demonstration and Good Practice Showcase session

We were also part of “Demonstration and Good Practice Showcase” session held on the last day of the conference where we showcased Raptivity. There were about 10 presenters for this session. The session was conducted in a large hall for about three hours. Each presenter was allocated one table and the participants were browsing between tables for the Demonstration.

This year’s experience at eLearning Africa was great as there were many decision makers from various universities and organizations. We had a chance to showcase raptivity to many people, had interesting conversations and spoke to many first time visitors as well. We look forward to meeting them again and explore new relationships with Harbinger.
